2006 Ferry Fare Adjustments
The Transportation Commission is proceeding with the 2006 ferry fare
adjustment process. The Commission has issued DRAFT WAC language which
contains the proposed '06 adjustments (below) and is now taking public
comment on that draft. The Commission is holding several public hearings
throughout the Puget Sound (schedule below) and will be holding its final
adoption public hearing on March 23, 2006 from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m.
at the Puget Sound Regional Council Offices located at 1011 Western Ave.,
Suite 500, Seattle, Washington.

A complete listing is provided for the 2006 ferry tariff public hearing
schedule. The public hearings take place in eight different locations
throughout the Puget Sound, starting on February 15 and concluding on
March 1, 2006.

impacted the proposed fare adjustments. It provides information on WSF's
funding history, its current operating and capital budgets, current budget
realities for ferry service, and possible service implications absent
adequate funding.
Draft WAC Language For 2006 Ferry

This is the actual WAC language that is being proposed for adoption
by the Transportation Commission, which contains the actual 2006 ferry
fare adjustments. This document is currently in Draft form while it undergoes
public review and comment. The Commission will consider all public input
before adopting the final 2006 ferry fare adjustments in March.
