Review of Port Angeles Graving
Dock Project June 30, 2006
This Audit was conducted
by the Joint Legislative
Audit and Review Committee
(JLARC) and Foth & Van
Dyke. The Audit reviews the
chain of events starting
with the initial Hood Canal
Bridge replacement project,
which led to the decision
to construct a graving dock
at the Port Angeles site
and to the abandonment of
that construction. There
are six study objectives:
Site Selection; Environmental
Permitting; Archaeological
Assessment; Interactions
of Interested Parties; Fiscal
Review and Recommendations.
