What: On
November 20th, 2006 the
Transportation Commission
moved its administrative
offices from the WSDOT
Headquarters Building located
at 310 Maple Park Avenue
in Olympia.
Where: The new Transportation
Commission administrative
offices will be located
in West Olympia at the
following physical address:

Why: The Legislature
provided funding in the
2006 Supplemental Transportation
Budget and directed the
Transportation Commission
to move to a new location
outside of the Transportation
Building. The move is
intended to enhance the
Commission’s level
of independence in carrying
out its statutory mandates.
Meetings: When the Commission
meets in Olympia, it
will continue to do so
in the same historic
location:
